How to get GREAT looking hair!:)

Hey Guys! I've been really busy lately (TWO new siblings!) so apologies for not uploading anything for ages. I would also like to quickly note as a few little tips for this is that if your hair has greasy roots, a quick spritz of perfume on your parting works great! Also I like to spray hairspray onto my brush before brushing if my hair is static in the winter time. :):)

Anyway, when I'm washing my hair, I have a secret little routine, that makes my hair look shiny and great the next day! So, I thought I'd share my little secret with my fans and followers!:) And by the way, I do this in the shower, not a bath(just in case it wasn't obvious!) Remember, this is based on MY experience, so I'll tell you what my hairs like, and if you can relate then this should work for you, though I'd imagine it would work for anyone, really! My hair is quite thin, and if I condition the roots, my roots go quite greasy (yuck!)

1. Rinse your hair with hot water, so it is soaked.

2. Then, apply some shampoo. I like to use either Pantene Pro-V or L'oreal Elvive products, but whatever your mum buys from the supermarket will do;) Rub the shampoo into your scalp, before rinsing thoroughly.

3. Next it's conditioning time! Again, I use either Pro-V or Elvive. Only condition half way down your head, as though there is an imaginary line going from the bottom of ear lobe to ear lobe. Wait about 3 minutes before rinsing even more thoroughly! Its important not to leave ANY conditioner in!:)

4. Next, I like to use a hair mask. My favourite is the House of Holland hair mask, but recently, I bought the Herbal Essences on from Dealz (£1.20) which works fine as well! I apply the mask the same as conditioner and wait for 3 minutes as well, before rinsing it out:)

5. Then, I get out of the shower, and towel dry my hair, but only so its not dripping! I dont like wringing, towel drying or squeezing my hair to hard, because it will damage it. I then wait for about 10-20 minutes.

6. Then, I rub a hazelnut size drop of L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight straightening cream, rub it into my hair, and leave my hair to dry naturally over night.

7. The next morning, I paddle brush my hair and brush in Vo5 Heat Protectant Styling Spray, and straighten my hair at 180-200*c (sorry about the star in the *c, I couldn't get the correct circle!)

8. I then spray some hairspray onto my brush and brush through, as my hair goes static in the winter.

9. Next, I use just one spritz of Avons Advance Techniques Daily Shine Mirror Shine Spray, and rub it into my hands, before sliding my hands down the side of my head to give my hair some glossy shine!:)

10. Finish with a cute hair accessory or a different parting and off you go!

I really hope this works on lots of other hair types! It seems like a long, complicated procedure but I do it every two days and it only gets easier!:D:D

How to get your parents to buy you the latest apple product

This is basically the same as persuading your parents to let you get your ears pierced. Not much else I can tell you differently except.....
1. Stay calm
If you approach them in a jumpy persistent mood they will probably find you are nagging, which will put them in a bad mood. Be calm, if they say no, don't get angry! Just leave.

2. Have your reasons!
You will need a good reason to want the newest iPad or a brand new touch screen iPod, not just because all your friends at school have one. Make a list of reasons they might say no, and then write some REASONABLE answers for them.

3. Be Patient!
I remember that time I really wanted a video camera to make a video diary for my baby brother. I am STILL waiting for one, and have been asking for a year, but I have a sneaky feeling I'll be getting one for Christmas! :) You may need to wait a while for your birthday or Christmas. To show you REALLY want one, make a birthday wishlist or Christmas list and put the apple product at the top, in bold, with lots of arrows pointing to it :D

4.Compromise
Maybe say that you will pay half if they pay half? If you dont want the full price you can easily buy a much cheaper one on Amazon or eBay and it will still work just as well!

Thats all I can really tell you without writing down the exact same thing as How to Persuade you Parents to Let You Get Your Ears Pierced! Enjoy!

How to Get Ombre Nails!

This post is for one of my biggest blog fans- Jenna! Here is how to do Ombre Nails in 10 steps!! :)

1. Prepare!
Make sure you are well prepared to do your manicure! It is important to have everything you need before starting, making sure all you equipment is in reach from where you are sitting.

2. What do you need to prepare?
You will need a pair of scissors, two gradient colours, a light and a dark and a base colour that matches. Here are some good combinations:
Teal and green, pink and dark pink, light blue and dark blue, orange and pink, indigo and purple.
You should also find a toothpick, sponge and a gloss polish, a paintbrush and nail polish remover

3. Lay your hand on a flat surface and paint on your base coat. Make sure the base coat is completely dry before painting on your gradient colours,

4. Take your sponge and cut of one side to make a flat side, you do not need to do this if you already have a flat side on your sponge.

5. Paint on to your sponge the light colour and dark colour, close enough so they meet slightly. Make sure that your mix of colours should be able to fit into your nail.

6. Use your toothpick and swirl the colours so that they look how you want them to on your nail.

7. Place the sponge on your nail. Dab lightly every so often, but make sure you are landing the sponge on the same spot as you did previously. Try slowly and lightly moving the sponge up and down your nail. It's okay if you finger gets mucky.

8. Let your nails dry and repeat step 7. You can repeat step 7 as many times as you wish, just make sure your nail is totally dry before repeating.

9. Using a thin paintbrush, dip it into some nail polish remover and remove all the excess paint on your finger and around your nail.

10. Once your nail is dry it will feel very bumping due to the sponging, so using your clear gloss polish, paint over it. Repeat twice.

There! You should now have a be-a-U-tiful manicure! Hope you enjoyed this post!

How to Chalk Dye Your Hair :)

Really want to have some fun with your hair without colour commitment? These easy 10 steps will tell you how to do it, without damaging your lovely locks ;)

1. Get Some Chalk.

Firstly, you'll need to buy some chalks. You can use sidewalk chalk, but I discovered that soft chalk artist pastels work best.

2. Soggy and soaked.

Now you need to either soak your chalk in water or wet small sections of your hair. I'd recommend soaking the chalk in water. If you do decide to do this, sidewalk chalk has to be soaked A LOT longer than pastels.

3. Rubadubdub.

Once you've soaked the chalk or wet your hair, rub it into the sections of your hair you wish to dye.

4. Change!

It also looks GREAT if you change colours of the chalk :) :) So now pick a different colour (if you wish) and do the same! :) :)

5. Dry- Hair dryer.

Now dry your hair. The next four steps will tell you different ways to do so. If you want to keep the way your hair is looking then just use a hairdryer to dry the chalk.

6. Dry- Simply Straighty

Having this style straightened, looks really cute! So if the hair drying style ain't working for you, then go straight! Simply straighten over the chalk highlights and WAHLAH! :)

7. Dry- Curly Queen.

Still don't have that hot highlighted style you hoped for? Then pop in some crazy curls!! :) :) :) Again, just curl over the chalk bits you added and there you go!

Dry- It's a Wavy World!

This next luscious look makes you hair really pop! Try going wavy with your chalk highlights. To start off, you'll need to dry your hair with a hairdryer. Now, make two side french braids with your hair and leave them in for 6-8 hours which is why it's easier to go to sleep with this hairstyle and wake up in the morning with luscious waves!. If you're not sure how to do french braids then check out this video---------->

9. Dry- Cool Crimps.

This last drying idea is to go crimped! All you need to do, is crimp your hair! :) :) :)

10. SHOW 'EM OFF! :)

Now all that's left to do is show off your highlighted hair! Where it to school, local clubs or anything else!

Have  fun!!

How to Get Rid of Any Worries!! :)

1. Relax.

Sit/lie down and take deep breaths, then carefully follow step 2.

2. The Box.

Imagine a box. The imagine writing down your worry on a piece of paper and fold the bit of paper up (Remember, you have to IMAGINE it, not literally do it) Finally, imagine slipping the bit of paper into the box and throwing it away.

3. Solutions!

Think about your problem or worry hard, and think about how you could solve it.

4. Tell Someone.

Telling somebody about your worry can be really useful and works very well! Ask a friend or a family member (Your parent/guardian is probably best, or somebody who listens to you best of all) and tell them every little detail about your worry. Get it all out of your system! :D

5. Loved Ones.

Keep the people you love most in life around you, it can take your mind off things.

6. Remember.

If you are having trouble getting to sleep because of your worry, then I recommend reading a book or thinking of every little thing you did that day, from day to night.

***NOTE*** I have only done 6 steps in this blog post because I thought it would be a good idea to get other peoples views. If I haven't mentioned how YOU get worries off your back then do post in the comment section different ways! :) :) It's great to get other peoples opinions involved! :)

Requests!

I was wondering if anybody had some requests for my blog?

If you are finding something tricky I can happily do a step by step blogged tutorial for you! :) :)

Also if you have any improvement ideas, that would be great to let me know ;)
