How to get your parents to buy you the latest apple product

This is basically the same as persuading your parents to let you get your ears pierced. Not much else I can tell you differently except.....
1. Stay calm
If you approach them in a jumpy persistent mood they will probably find you are nagging, which will put them in a bad mood. Be calm, if they say no, don't get angry! Just leave.

2. Have your reasons!
You will need a good reason to want the newest iPad or a brand new touch screen iPod, not just because all your friends at school have one. Make a list of reasons they might say no, and then write some REASONABLE answers for them.

3. Be Patient!
I remember that time I really wanted a video camera to make a video diary for my baby brother. I am STILL waiting for one, and have been asking for a year, but I have a sneaky feeling I'll be getting one for Christmas! :) You may need to wait a while for your birthday or Christmas. To show you REALLY want one, make a birthday wishlist or Christmas list and put the apple product at the top, in bold, with lots of arrows pointing to it :D

4.Compromise
Maybe say that you will pay half if they pay half? If you dont want the full price you can easily buy a much cheaper one on Amazon or eBay and it will still work just as well!

Thats all I can really tell you without writing down the exact same thing as How to Persuade you Parents to Let You Get Your Ears Pierced! Enjoy!

How to Get Ombre Nails!

This post is for one of my biggest blog fans- Jenna! Here is how to do Ombre Nails in 10 steps!! :)

1. Prepare!
Make sure you are well prepared to do your manicure! It is important to have everything you need before starting, making sure all you equipment is in reach from where you are sitting.

2. What do you need to prepare?
You will need a pair of scissors, two gradient colours, a light and a dark and a base colour that matches. Here are some good combinations:
Teal and green, pink and dark pink, light blue and dark blue, orange and pink, indigo and purple.
You should also find a toothpick, sponge and a gloss polish, a paintbrush and nail polish remover

3. Lay your hand on a flat surface and paint on your base coat. Make sure the base coat is completely dry before painting on your gradient colours,

4. Take your sponge and cut of one side to make a flat side, you do not need to do this if you already have a flat side on your sponge.

5. Paint on to your sponge the light colour and dark colour, close enough so they meet slightly. Make sure that your mix of colours should be able to fit into your nail.

6. Use your toothpick and swirl the colours so that they look how you want them to on your nail.

7. Place the sponge on your nail. Dab lightly every so often, but make sure you are landing the sponge on the same spot as you did previously. Try slowly and lightly moving the sponge up and down your nail. It's okay if you finger gets mucky.

8. Let your nails dry and repeat step 7. You can repeat step 7 as many times as you wish, just make sure your nail is totally dry before repeating.

9. Using a thin paintbrush, dip it into some nail polish remover and remove all the excess paint on your finger and around your nail.

10. Once your nail is dry it will feel very bumping due to the sponging, so using your clear gloss polish, paint over it. Repeat twice.

There! You should now have a be-a-U-tiful manicure! Hope you enjoyed this post!

How to Chalk Dye Your Hair :)

Really want to have some fun with your hair without colour commitment? These easy 10 steps will tell you how to do it, without damaging your lovely locks ;)

1. Get Some Chalk.

Firstly, you'll need to buy some chalks. You can use sidewalk chalk, but I discovered that soft chalk artist pastels work best.

2. Soggy and soaked.

Now you need to either soak your chalk in water or wet small sections of your hair. I'd recommend soaking the chalk in water. If you do decide to do this, sidewalk chalk has to be soaked A LOT longer than pastels.

3. Rubadubdub.

Once you've soaked the chalk or wet your hair, rub it into the sections of your hair you wish to dye.

4. Change!

It also looks GREAT if you change colours of the chalk :) :) So now pick a different colour (if you wish) and do the same! :) :)

5. Dry- Hair dryer.

Now dry your hair. The next four steps will tell you different ways to do so. If you want to keep the way your hair is looking then just use a hairdryer to dry the chalk.

6. Dry- Simply Straighty

Having this style straightened, looks really cute! So if the hair drying style ain't working for you, then go straight! Simply straighten over the chalk highlights and WAHLAH! :)

7. Dry- Curly Queen.

Still don't have that hot highlighted style you hoped for? Then pop in some crazy curls!! :) :) :) Again, just curl over the chalk bits you added and there you go!

Dry- It's a Wavy World!

This next luscious look makes you hair really pop! Try going wavy with your chalk highlights. To start off, you'll need to dry your hair with a hairdryer. Now, make two side french braids with your hair and leave them in for 6-8 hours which is why it's easier to go to sleep with this hairstyle and wake up in the morning with luscious waves!. If you're not sure how to do french braids then check out this video---------->

9. Dry- Cool Crimps.

This last drying idea is to go crimped! All you need to do, is crimp your hair! :) :) :)

10. SHOW 'EM OFF! :)

Now all that's left to do is show off your highlighted hair! Where it to school, local clubs or anything else!

Have  fun!!

How to Get Rid of Any Worries!! :)

1. Relax.

Sit/lie down and take deep breaths, then carefully follow step 2.

2. The Box.

Imagine a box. The imagine writing down your worry on a piece of paper and fold the bit of paper up (Remember, you have to IMAGINE it, not literally do it) Finally, imagine slipping the bit of paper into the box and throwing it away.

3. Solutions!

Think about your problem or worry hard, and think about how you could solve it.

4. Tell Someone.

Telling somebody about your worry can be really useful and works very well! Ask a friend or a family member (Your parent/guardian is probably best, or somebody who listens to you best of all) and tell them every little detail about your worry. Get it all out of your system! :D

5. Loved Ones.

Keep the people you love most in life around you, it can take your mind off things.

6. Remember.

If you are having trouble getting to sleep because of your worry, then I recommend reading a book or thinking of every little thing you did that day, from day to night.

***NOTE*** I have only done 6 steps in this blog post because I thought it would be a good idea to get other peoples views. If I haven't mentioned how YOU get worries off your back then do post in the comment section different ways! :) :) It's great to get other peoples opinions involved! :)

Requests!

I was wondering if anybody had some requests for my blog?

If you are finding something tricky I can happily do a step by step blogged tutorial for you! :) :)

Also if you have any improvement ideas, that would be great to let me know ;)

How to Make a Blog!! :)

If you are inspired by Brookeyy Cookie Planet :) :) then why not create your OWN blog? Wanna try it? Then follow my next 10-STEPS! instructions :)

1. Decisions, decisions.

Firstly, you'll need to decide what your blog is going to be about. Sport? Celebrity Gossip? It's up to YOU! Maybe you'd like to do a blog for your school! It's completely up to you!

2. Pick a site.

Now you'll need to find a blog creator website to join up with. I'm with Blogger, because it is really easy to do. Blogger is also a Google product, so that in a way comforts me a bit more. Once you have chosen your site you'll need to sign up with it. If you do pick blogger then you will need to make a Google account, if you don't already have one.

3. Naming.

You are now at the stage where you need to pick a name for your blog. Maybe rhyme it with your name? Or combine two of the main things your blog is about to create a single word! Maybe write down a list of your name ideas and get your family and friends to say which they prefer.

4. Layout and Template.

So, you've chosen a site and you've thought up a name. Now it is time to choose a design for your blog, now you have to create your blogs image. Your background and template could be based on your blog topic.

5. Posts.

Time for your first post! Sign into your account and write your first article, obviously about which topic you chose. If say your theme was sport, then you could write about a major sporting event that has recently happened, or how close the Olympics are getting. If you chose fashion though, you could write about latest trends and cool celebrity outfits.

6. Advertising.

If you have Facebook or Twitter then you could make a page or post about your blog. If not, you could always just spread the word, and ask your friends to check out your blog.

7. Improvement.

If you have had people checking out your blog then ask them what they thought of it, to see if you need any improvement here and there. After all, the public's views are always important! :) :)

8. Speak Up!

If you have had people checking out your blog that you can't ask face to face, then why not post a post or message asking them for any post requests?

9. Better and better.

As time goes on, you will need to start raising the standard bar on you blog. Maybe make the posts more challenging to write? If you improve lots then hey!- you'll start to look like a pro :) :)

10. ENJOY YOURSELF!!

Don't just drone on and on and on about your subject! You need to sound chatty and make your blog fun to read. To do this, just have fun writing your blog! If you do it as some kind of chore then you may as well not bother. Enjoy writing your articles!! :) :)

Hope this helps! :)

How to paint your opposite writing hand!

Ever get in a pickle when trying to paint the hand that is opposite to your writing hand? Then this SPECIAL

1. Eat

That's right! Eat! If your hand is shaky it might be because you are hungry.

2. Have peace and quiet.

Make sure your surroundings are silent, to avoid a sudden noise, causing you to muck up your nails.

3. Focus!

When doing your tricky hand, focus on the hand and only the hand. Forget about any worries and problems (you can check out how to do so by reading my next post) and focus entirely on the nail painting!

**Note**

Alternatively, you could get somebody else to do it for you~! :)

How To Study Hard!

These 10 Steps helps you to keep studying hard, whether it's for a math test, English test or anything else!

1. Focus.

Keeping focused is vital in studying successfully. Make sure your family give you peace and quiet whilst you give them grey cells a full work out!

2. Music.

This is optional, as some people tend to be able to focus more without music.

When I say music, I don't mean Gothic heavy metal bands, I mean slow easy relaxing music. Even whale songs might come in handy.

Ask your mum or gran if they have any CDs of this kind of music and if not, you can easily play it on YouTube!--> http://www.youtube.com/

3. Take Breaks.

You also must make sure you don't overwork yourself, as it can cause you to become stressed afterwords, or even make you get muddled up with your studies.

Also note not to take too long breaks because then you will get back into lazy relaxed mood which will take you back to square one on the focus grid! :) So I recommend 5-19 minute breaks where you can grab a sandwich and juice if peckish.

4. Set Targets.

If you like to play football for instance, say to yourself 'Once I've finished studying, I can play an entire match of 5-a-side'. But use this method for YOUR favourite hobbies ;)

Be careful when doing this though, make sure you aren't rushing it.

5. Think about what'll happen afterwards.

Imagine after all your hard work has payed off. Think about getting an 'A'/'A+', or any other high mark.

Imagine how proud your parents will be! Unless of course getting an A+ is totally normal for you, of course... :-)

6. Start Easy.

If you are struggling at first then try starting at an easier bit, then work your way up to the harder pieces of work.

7. Tell your Teacher!

Once you have finished, maybe leave a note at the bottom of the page telling your teacher that you have worked especially hard on studying that week. Your teacher will probably be impressed and higher your mark/grade a bit!

8. Get Help.

Ask an adult at home to help you out with your work. If you don't understand a bit, maybe they'll be able to explain it too you a bit better.

9. Sacrifice.

When studying, you might need to give up football practice, or shopping with your friends. I don't mean to sound like your Mother, but then again, whats more important? Shopping, or a good education?

10. Supply up!

Make sure you'll have everything you'll need to successfully study. Paper, pencils, rubbers and textbooks are what you'll mainly need, but depending on what you'll be practicing, you might need more resources.

Hope this helps, and good look on whatever test your studying on!! :)

How To Host A Great Party/Sleepover :)

Ten easy steps to host a really fun party/sleepover :)

1. Decide who you will bring.

Sleepover: Make sure you don't invite your entire school if it's just a sleepover. The more the merrier isn't really the case here. Limit yourself down to maybe 10 or less friends. Also, if a group of people aren't each others biggest fans at the time, maybe it's best not to bring both of them, because if they begin to argue then they'll just ruin it for everyone else. An alternative is to ask them to be civil at your sleepover.

Party: Every awesome party usually has a ton of guests! To decide who you'll invite, you need to decide which kind of party you'll have. Will you have games and a snack break? Or maybe just a dance the whole time and get food when your hungry? If you want to be dancing the whole time then it's best to mix about your party guests, and invite a mixture of everyone! :)

***NOTE*** If maybe you don't have a lot of friends to invite, then family parties are just as awesome!! I had one and it was great fun!! All my family were over at our place in the garden. We had a barbecue and all the kids played on the lawn and the adults sat on the garden chairs and had a laugh :)

2. Make Times.

Sleepover: This step is really about making sure your guests parents know when to drop them off and pick them up. Good times for a sleepover could be 5.00pm- 11.00am if you plan for your friends to be there for tea, but if not, then maybe start around 6.00pm or 6.30pm. Don't leave it too late because if you want to watch a movie then you want to start watching that at about 7-8pm, depending on what time your parents want you to start settling down.

Party: You should probably make sure you're party only lasts about 3hours at the most.

3. Make Space.

Sleepover: For a sleepover you'll need to make space for airbeds or sleeping bags in the room you will have your friends and yourself staying in. Be careful picking a room because you want lots of extra space in the room in case you do games or maybe just to space to set your popcorn and DVD stack down!

Party: Your gonna need a ton of space! You could book a room in your local Community Centre or just clear a room in your house! :D Point is, you will need room for dancing, snacks, sitting down and chatting and maybe even an open door in case your guests get hot :)

4. Entertainment.

Sleepover: A great way to get a sleepover party going is if you have a DVD/video around :) I recommend comedys A LOT!!! Comedys always get everyone in that giggly mood and once the DVD is over everybody will still be laughing and carrying on :)

Party: A dancing/disco party is pretty simple to be honest. Everybody will mainly be doing their own thing, so wire up your loudest boombox/ CD player, throw in some recent NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC!'s and there you go! :) 'Dance Party's' are also pretty sweet too.

5. Snacks

These instructions apply for a party or a sleepover!
Make sure you're well supplied with yummy nibblies!! You especially want popcorn for a sleepover! The best kind of drinks would be coke :)

6. Permission!!!

Sleepover: Before we go any further with this, you NEED to make sure your parents are happy with your plans. If they want you to be asleep for 11pm then try and do it, or be quiet.

Party: Don't go too overboard, it could cost a lot! The best kind of parties are simple, and relaxed :)

7. Check with your guests

You'll need to ask your guests about allergies, what ratings for DVDs they can watch and, of course, what music they like best!

8. Theme

Obviously this is optional, but you may like your party to have a theme. If it's a Halloween party, then you might like to buy just some cheap plastic spiders, a few banners and simple, yet yummy, party food :)

You might like a sort of themed sleepover, like an 80's sleepover or a Pink Party!

9. YOU!

Enough about the guests for now... Lets focus on you! To host an amazing party/sleepover you need to look and feel fabulous! If you don't feel up for it at the time, then maybe make it for next weekend, because the host is one of the main features of the party!

Make sure you're look razzle dazzles people too! Try wearing something that you wouldn't normally wear- you never know, it might make you look amazing!

Also, set the party the way you wold like it too!

10. Have fun!

There's nothing worse than a birthday party where everyone is bored and fed up! Liven the place up! Laugh!  And have the best party EVER!! :)
